Bob Affel, President of Sun Electric for over 30 years, has organized the company's growth from under $200,000 in 1978 to $9,000,000+ currently. "I've been fortunate to assemble a great team."

Jo Ann Whillock, Office Manager, has been with Sun Electric since 1990 and is responsible for computerized accounting systems including Payroll, Taxes, AR, AP, General Ledger, and Job Costing.

Steve Dockery, Vice President, joined Sun Electric in 1996. Steve has over 35 years experience in all types of electrical work. Steve's "whatever it takes" attitude provides the ultimate in customer service. As VP of Business Operations he oversees a majority of the new construction.

Doug Cassidy, Vice President - Estimating, joined Sun Electric in 1997. Doug has been in the electrical field for over 30 years, achieving Outstanding Apprentice of 1978. He was a self-employed Electrical Contractor for 12 years, before becoming a Knoxville Electrical Inspector in 1993.

Jerry Johnson, Estimating, joined Sun Electric in 2005. Jerry has been in the electrical field for over thirty years, progressing from an apprentice electrician to ten years as a partner in one of East Tennessee's larger electrical contractors. He holds both a Journeyman and Master Electrician license from the state of Virginia, and was one of the first in Tennessee to obtain the designation as a Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) by the Building Industry Consulting Service International, Inc. (BICSI).

Paul Shire, Field Supervisor, began his electrical apprenticeship program in Tucson, AZ in 1985. He became a foreman with Sun Electric team in 1990. Paul's electrical experience includes leadership of our largest commercial and industrial projects. His emphasis is on high quality work production and completely satisfied customers.

Chuck Shipley, Field Supervisor, entered the electrical field in 1984. He came to us in 1997 and rapidly advanced to Foreman of large projects. Currently he maintains production and discipline in the Knoxville Area projects.

Sam Payne , Purchasing, came to Sun Electric in 2006 as an electrician, having worked in the electrical field since 1981. His skills include all aspects of electrical work including installation, estimating, material purchasing, project management, scheduling, and closeout of electrical projects.

Karen Carver, Administrative Assistant, began at Sun Electric in 1998, bringing 29 years experience in office administration with a strong background in Budgeting, Computers, Safety, Training, and the use of software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, Internet and e-mail.

David Romines, Warehouse Manager, began in 2000. David's 15+ years experience in the electrical field along with his knowledge of materials and tools, ensure timely delivery of ordered items.
